Accessibility notice

Aeonite aims to make its website and published specification materials usable by as many people as reasonably possible, including people who use assistive technologies. The site is designed and maintained with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 Level AA as its target.

Measures supporting accessibility

  • semantic HTML landmarks, headings, labels, and native controls;
  • keyboard-operable navigation and interactive controls;
  • a visible skip link and strong visible keyboard focus;
  • responsive layouts that reflow for smaller screens and text enlargement;
  • reduced-motion support;
  • text descriptions or fallbacks for generated diagrams and grammars; and
  • downloadable HTML, Markdown, &ND, and AEON representations where available.

Assessment approach

Accessibility is reviewed through self-evaluation, automated Lighthouse checks, keyboard testing, responsive-layout review, and inspection of generated content. Automated results are useful evidence, but they do not by themselves establish complete WCAG conformance or replace testing by people using assistive technologies.

Known limitations and alternatives

Technical specifications can contain wide tables, source code, formal grammar diagrams, and other dense material. Some of this content may require horizontal scrolling at high zoom or on a small screen. Larger viewing controls, textual diagram descriptions, fallback content, and downloadable text-based projections are provided where applicable.

Accessibility can vary across browsers, assistive technologies, and generated documents. If a format presents a barrier, contact Aeonite and identify the document or page you need. A reasonable effort will be made to provide the information in a suitable alternative form or correct the barrier.

Report an accessibility problem through the contact form. If convenient, include the page or document, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology involved. You do not need to disclose a disability or provide sensitive personal information.
